Current Opportunities:
Assessors for Total Theatre Awards 2019, Edinburgh Festival Fringe
The Total Theatre Awards are assessed and judged by two panels of presenters, critics, producers, academics, theatre makers and theatre workers. Each year the ‘Assessment’ panel is refreshed. Collectively this group view over 550 productions – over 1200 individual performances - and engage in over 35 hours of dynamic and rigorous discussion and debate. This process happens exclusively in the context of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
We are currently recruiting performance makers and theatre professionals of all levels of experience and background to be part of the 2019 Assessment panel.
Participation in the Total Theatre Awards Assessment process provides a brilliant opportunity for professional development. The rigour and intensity of analysis, dialogue, discussion and debate, significantly develops critical faculties and understanding of the contemporary performance landscape, art-form, excellence and audiences. For those that have participated previously, the insight, knowledge and perspective gained has proved to significantly benefit, inform and influence their practice going forwards and provided an unrivalled opportunity to expand and develop UK and International peer networks.
The Total Theatre Awards 2019 Assessment dates are 2-14 August 2019. To find out more and to apply to be part of the 2019 Peer Assessment Panel, please download the information and application pack here. Deadline for applications is 2pm on Thursday 25 July 2019.
